BCGS Equestrian Team come 7th in the Nationals
Posted on: 10/11/2017The BCGS Equestrian team achieved an amazing 7th position in the Nationals at Addington before half term. They jumped against 54 other schools who had also qualified from around the country in either 1st or 2nd position at their county events so competition was strong.
Schools representing England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales were all in the running with the top 8 during the day going through to the evening jump off. Barton Court qualified in 8th!
During the jump off Daniel turned a little too tight and his pony refused, Chantelle put in a super round (one of the fastest of the evening) and the team managed to move up a place, finally finishing 7th.
It was such an achievement against really stiff competition, but no doubt we'll be back again next year looking for a place higher up the leader board.
