Duke of Edinburgh Expedition - June 18

All of our Y11 students participating in the Duke of Edinburgh expedition this summer were successful in passing this element of the course with assessors praising their navigation, camp craft and especially their team work and resilience.

Groups camped at a site near Ashford which followed their walk from Chilham and enjoyed the rest ready for the next day's challenges.

Edward Gaskin, Operations Manager for the South East, presented Mr Hellyar with a plaque to confirm we are now our own Licenced Operator for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, something we are all delighted with.
