DT Enrichment Workshop
Posted on: 13/10/2021We are delighted to, once again, be running our Enrichment Programme for Year 5 primary students to sample life at a grammar school.
The first one to start the schedule this year was the Design & Technology Department who ran a STEM activity.
Students had to work in pairs to create a balloon powered car. The skill they employed was critical thinking to work out just how the balloon would move their car and also the design which would ensure the bottom of the car wouldn’t be grounded. It was a fun afternoon for all involved and it ended in a car race down the corridor with much laughter and cheering!
