Inside Sports Science Competition at The University of Kent

A mixture of Y10 and Y12 Sport students had a great day today at The University of Kent as part of the Inside Sport Science Competition.

They spent the morning participating in Sport Science Workshops looking at reaction times, biomechanics, sports drinks and flexibility/joint mobility. In the afternoon they then devised and planned their own research projects focused on one of these areas.

We are looking forward to the visit next week where students will collect and analyse data for their project, before presenting their findings at a presentation evening at the University in December.
