District Athletics Festival - March 17

Back in the Spring Term, 20x Y7 students represented the School at the District Athletics Festival performing exceptionally well and demonstrating an excellent team spirit.

 

Some stunning results were achieved with Scarlett winning the high jump, clearing a height of 1.35m, and second place finishes achieved for Stanley in the 100m and Felix in the 800m.

 

In the final standings, the Y7 boys finished in second place and the Y7 girls in third.

 

With these points combined, Barton Court came out as overall winners of the Festival for the first time, finishing above Kent College and Herne Bay High.

 

Students were elated and immensely proud of their performances and rightly so!
