Y12 Geographers at Stratford
Posted on: 09/06/2023Year 12 Geography students travelled to Stratford last week to undertake fieldwork in preparation for their Independent Investigations. Students where investigating a number of questions in Stratford, including;
- To what extent did the London Olympic games meet the aims that were set out and how important has West Hams use of the Olympic stadium been in this success?
- What impact has the new Elizabeth Line had on Westfield Shopping Centre?
- How has Westfield Shopping Centre changed the economics of the Stratford region?
In order to answer these questions student completed a range of fieldwork techniques in the Olympic Park, Westfield Shopping Centre and East Village. The aim of the day was to give students experience of various fieldwork methods and inspire them with their own investigations.
This is the first day of fieldwork at A Level for the students and a great day was had by all.
