NOS Accreditation - 22-23
Posted on: 03/07/2023We are delighted to announce that we have successfully completed an online safety programme and as a results have, once again, received National Online Safety Certified School Accreditation.
Everyone, senior leaders, all school staff and parents, have participated in learning how to make the internet a safer place for children, proving how committed we all are in educating our community in online safety.
James Southworth, co-founder of National Online Safety, said: “Congratulations to everyone at Barton Court Grammar School on becoming a National Online Safety Certified School. By completing our training programme, the school has shown its strong commitment to implementing an effective whole school approach to online safety.”
“It can be increasingly difficult for schools and parents to stay ahead of online threats and ensure both children and staff are safeguarded from potentially harmful and inappropriate online material. We arm schools with the knowledge they need to understand online dangers and react in the best way possible to any problems.”
Caroline Bénard-Grosso, Trust Deputy Head Teacher at Barton Court Grammar School, said: “We are delighted to have received for the 4th consecutive year this award. This is a whole community effort and I would like to thank our Governors, staff, parents and carers for their continuous support in ensuring that our pupils and staff are safe online."
