The Royal Society

Year 12 students had the opportunity to visit The Royal Society this week to explore the very latest advances in science and accessed over three hundred scientists at the forefront of their field.

The Summer Science Exhibition offers a unique opportunity to explore the science shaping our future with the people making it happen.

Some even attended a talk from Helen Sharman, the first British astronaut to travel to space, for an engaging and thought-provoking talk. Helen dived into the exciting world of STEM possibilities, including space travel, and highlighted a few STEM subjects to stimulate thought about what to study after school.
