Enrichment Week Trip to Italy 2023
Posted on: 19/07/2023Lake Garda was a huge success again this year with students seeing the Lake from both on land and on the water. We stopped in Sirmione for a traditional Italian ice cream and walked down to the water to take pictures of the landscape across the Lake. We then travelled up to Malcesine where the students had some free time to buy souvenirs.
Travelling up the Lake to Riva del Garda, the weather was very hot, so we managed to fit in some pool time for the students to cool down.
Verona was probably the hottest day of the week. We toured the city with a local guide who explained how the city links to a fair few of Shakespeare's plays, even though there is no official evidence that Shakespeare had ever been to the city!
Students were then given free time to explore the area before spending the afternoon in the hotel pool to, once again, cool down.
Everyone had an amazing time and our students really enjoyed themselves. It was just brilliant to be back in Italy again after a couple of years away.
