Mayo College students visit from India
Posted on: 13/05/2019On Monday 13 May 2019 five students and their teacher Kunal Kumar (Head of French) from Mayo College in Ajmer, India, visited Barton Court Grammar School in Canterbury.
Mayo College (est. 1875) is one of the most prestigious independent schools in India (similar to Eton’s position in the UK).
During their visit, the five student ambassadors worked with Year 12 philosophy students on a range of discussion activities.
The students were eager to share their academic and extra-curricular experiences, and taught Ms Cullimore some written Hindi and Punjabi.
The visit was arranged by Paul Babra, who has been involved with cultural exchanges with Barton Court students for over ten years.
