Y5 Enriching Workshop - Art

On 20 May 2019, the School welcomed 20x Year 5 students to our Art Enriching Workshop.

 

Mr Turner, our Lead Teacher of Art, led a highly creative and practical session in which the children were able to experiment with a range of different materials and mediums to develop and explore their artistic flair. Being encouraged to embrace their artistic side as well as taking some well-considered risks in their sketching and drawing were all part and parcel of the session, and Mr Turner showed off some fantastic examples of his own creations to help inspire and support the children in their own work.

 

There was an atmosphere of quiet concentration and reflection in our art classroom, and the students came out smiling and very proud of their creations at the end!
