Bechstein Grand Piano
Posted on: 03/11/2022Barton Court is very lucky to recently have acquired a Bechstein grand piano, dating from c.1868.
Bechstein’s are widely to be considered one of the most stable models ever made and we are thrilled that our piano students now have access to this piece of history, both for concerts and private practise.
We would like to thank the family of Robert Scott, who not only allowed us to purchase the piano, but also donated a huge quantity of piano music to the department, which students and staff are using and appreciating on a daily basis.
