Kenward Trust visits Barton Court Grammar School

On Wednesday 25 September Barton Court Grammar School invited in Kim and Andy from the Kenward Trust to speak to our Year 7 - 10 and Year 12 students. They delivered their ‘Think Differently’ School Programme, and discussed issues around vaping, smoking, alcohol, cannabis and Class A drugs. 

In addition, our visitors spoke about prison life, grooming, county lines and generally staying safe.

Both Andy and Kim shared their life stories, and provided up-to-date education, and the reality and dangers of taking drugs into their talks.

Feedback from our students included comments such as "this was the most impactful talk I have ever been to" and  "it was hard hitting, but reality".
