Barton Court Student Comes Second in Canterbury Festival Competition
Posted on: 22/10/2024Congratulations to Euan in Year 11, pictured in the centre, who competed in the Canterbury Festival Bursary Competition on Monday 21 October at Kent College. Euan was one of only six Kent teenagers who were selected to participate in the final (out of an audition pool of over 30) and one of only two state school students to be chosen.
The judges commented that the different between the top two performers was so slight that they felt that they had to create a second place prize of Highly Commended, something which had not been done before. We are delighted that Euan won the Highly Commended prize, which included an award of £250.
