Barton Court Student Excels at Athletics Championships

The School would like to congratulate Year 8 student Jacob on a fantastic weekend of performance in the National Indoor Athletics Championships in Sheffield at thy weekend.

Having only just moved up to the under 15 boys age (U15B) group, Jacob stunned coaches with a set of excellent performances. Jacob set new personal bests in all events including the 60m flat and 60m hurdles. To get through to the final for a first year U15B is very rare and alone was an achievement as he was the only young U15B who qualified for the final.

Well done to Jacob and we look forward to seeing how he progresses as the summer season approaches.
